Background and experience

For over three decades, Dan has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific goals and retirement needs. Dan has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve and expect. Dan began his career as a financial advisor with Lincoln National in 1988 and later moved to Edward Jones in 1994. Hoping to continue to advance in his career, Dan joined Merril Lynch and opened a new office in Alexandria Minnesota, where he would become Vice president and Certified Financial Manager.

Wanting to create his own independent firm, Dan joined Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2004. Dan would go on to become acknowledged as a Premier Advisor for seven years in a row from 2012 - 2018 by Wells Fargo Advisors. An award only given out to the top 15% of all advisors of the firm for production and maintaining the high professional standards required by Wells Fargo Advisors and FINRA.

In 2019, the team made the transition to affiliate with Prospera Financial Services, a boutique full- service broker-dealer. Taking a team approach, along with his son Chris who joined him in 2007, they strive to provide personalized financial advice for individuals and families.

Away from the office

Dan spends his free time with his wife of 42 years Connie. They both enjoy staying active playing golf, biking, exercising, and spending time with their two dogs, Jack and Bell, and grandchildren, Allie and Kyle.
